Freedoms surf school is based in Lanzarote, Costa Teguise and Famara. The beautiful volcanic island offers all year round amazing weather conditions and waves for all levels; beginners intermediate and advanced. With our highly motivated and experienced team of surf instructors you’re guaranteed to have an awesome surfing holiday in a buzzing atmosphere.

Lanzarote is found to the north of the Canary Islands - the Hawaii of Europe! The surf, swell, weather and location are ideal for all year round fun. It can get big, powerful waves firing off its reefs throughout October to March, but is consistent enough throughout the rest of the year to score good waves whenever you visit.

Simply by choosing the right beach with your instructor in the morning you can choose the size of the surf, so no matter what your ability, there’s the perfect wave for you.

One of the main reasons why so many surfers choose Lanzarote for their surf trip is quite simply, the weather. Its temperature is reaching an average value of 20ºc in January and 28ºc in August, the water temperature varies between 17ºc and 24ºc.
